BLAINE COUNTY, SAN ANDREAS — The Blaine County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) has once again secured its place at the top of San Andreas law enforcement, earning the title of Department of the Year during the 8-Year Town Hall Meeting of MidwestRP on November 16th, 2025. The honor, decided by the citizens of San Andreas, marks the second consecutive year BCSO has taken home the award—an achievement few departments in state history share.
Sheriff Trevor Hudson addressed his department following the announcement, calling the recognition “something truly special,” not for the accolade itself, but for the people who earned it.
“Every time you get on patrol, every call, every moment you choose professionalism over frustration, integrity over shortcuts, and teamwork over ego. That’s what built this department. That’s what earned this recognition.”
Hudson emphasized that back-to-back victories aren’t a product of luck.
“Two years in a row is not luck. It’s character. It’s consistency. It’s pride in the badge.”
He went on to say he was “even more excited for what’s ahead,” noting that the team has shown there is “no limit” to what they can achieve together.
As part of the celebration, the Department of Public Works honored BCSO with a retro-styled livery for its 2011 Ford Crown Victoria. The classic design pays homage to the department’s history and will begin appearing on patrol in the coming weeks.
The Sheriff’s Office extended its gratitude to the community for the continued support, reaffirming its commitment to its core values: Integrity, Excellence, Fairness, and Respect.
“We thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be recognized… We will continue to serve you all with these values,” the statement read.
